Russell is one of the UK's most successful live comedians. His current tour 'Right Here Right Now' will have played 25 sold out area shows across the UK this year. This includes three sold out shows at the 15000 capacity O2 arena. A highly anticipated live DVD of the show will be released this autumn.

Russell is the writer and star of his own BBC Three show ‘Russell Howard's Good News’ which is currently in its fifth series. The show is one of the most successful entertainment programmes on BBC3, with ratings peaking at 3.9 million viewers a week.

Russell made his debut US TV appearance this summer with a guest performance on ‘The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien’. Overseas, this year Russell also performed at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal and the JFL Festival at The Sydney Opera House where he performed alongside John Cleese, Martin Short, Demitri Martin and Louis C.K.

Russell has a fan base of over 2 million on facebook and has two UK number 1 best selling stand-up DVDs, 2008’s ‘Russell Howard Live’ and 2009's ‘Russell Howard – Dingledodies’ which sold over 450,000 copies.
